The Pine River Arts Council is proud to present “Evenings in the Park,” a FREE six-week event series filled with captivating performances and entertainment for the whole community to enjoy. Every Tuesday evening from July 11 to August 15, Wright Park will come alive with music, dance, theater, and more.
The arts council has carefully curated a lineup of talented artists who will showcase their skills and captivate audiences of all ages. Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of musical theater, where talented performers will bring beloved show tunes to life with their captivating voices and dynamic stage presence. Get ready to be swept away by the infectious rhythms and tropical vibes of steel drum music with Third Coast Steel. If you’re a fan of acoustic music, you won’t want to miss the dulcimer and acoustic music of Broken Glass String Band. Experience the magic of history as Lisa Yoder, a local storyteller weaves tales about mid-Michigan. Local musician Hannah Harris will grace the stage with traditional Irish music and exquisite instrumentation for an evening of tunes you can’t help but tap your foot to. In addition to these incredible acts, prepare for a grand finale with a performance by the Central Michigan Area Concert Band and enjoy the powerful symphonic sounds as skilled musicians come together to create a breathtaking auditory experience of classical concert music.
