LUCKY MACDUCK DAY IS BACK FOR 2023!
Lucky MacDuck Day is a fundraiser that supports philanthropic grants for the arts and art education projects.
Lucky MacDuck is back for 2023!
- We are excited to see you all again. This year will see a few changes to our exciting lineup of activities.
- We are offering our own food concessions tent. Enjoy a variety of options including hamburgers and hotdogs from Helmans as well as pizzas sold by the slice. This will help support our own Pine River Arts Council.
- Our kids activity tent will include a bounce house this year. Watch for dance mini-classes. Slime-making is still in the lineup, and we will supply several new crafts and activities.
- We are enticing more craft vendors, as well, so we hope to have a robust selection for you to browse, and of course the Community Artists Guild will stage their annual Lucky MacDuck Gallery show. (Please click [ HERE ] if you are interested in becoming a Lucky MacDuck Vendor)
- Our Just Ducky Shoppe is now located at Ballyhoo Books in downtown Alma. On the day of Lucky MacDuck Race you can join us (along with a lot of additional duck-themed merchandise) under the big tent in at the Lucky MacDuck location at the Alma Public Library. Grab some souvenirs before you head home!

- Watch for us at the Alma Farmers Market to purchase your duck adoption and 50-50 tickets.
Lucky MacDuck Race:
- Be part of the competition by adopting a duck for the race. All it takes is one lucky duck to win the grand prize of $1,000.00 or one of 99 other prizes.
- Duck Adoptions are available at Alma Farmers Market, Alma True Value Hardware and Ballyhoo Books and on site until 3:00 PM race time.
- Duck adoptions are:
- $5.00 each,
- a Quackpack of 6 for $25.00,
- a Baker’s Dozen for $50.00, or
- a flock of 30 for $120.00.
- Race begins at 3:30 PM
50-50 Raffle
- A 50-50 raffle will be drawn at 4:00 p.m., with the winner taking home half of the proceeds of the raffle. Purchasers do not need to be present to win.
